About Project
The Client Brief
The client wanted to create a contemporary, classical space to connect with the Kitchen/dining room.
The Challenge
Opening the space between the two rooms. “Pretty dated” paint colours Removing the red tone paint to create a bright spacious room.
What we did
To add space, the living room makeover began with the removal of the wall separating the living room from the kitchen. We keep the basic structure of the living room with its parallel nooks by removing the dado rail and redesigned existing fire surround. Dark grey tones on the parallel nooks helped create a streamlined minimalist look. We brought in two Italian design leather armchairs and a luxurious sofa along with soft lighting finished off the living room’s contemporary, classic feeling.
End result
Stunning use of space to create a wonderful family living room
